2005 Bob Evans Farm Festival
October 7 - 10, 2005
Rio Grande, Ohio

A great weekend festival!
No Unhooking required to take advantage of this great tour directly
following the International Rally! We will continue our Southern Ohio
adventure with the Bob Evans Farm Festival. We will stay at the Ross County
Fairgrounds and have bus transportation to the Bob Evans Farm Complex for
two days of country style activities and fun!

Bob Evans began making sausage on his southeastern Ohio farm in Rio Grande,
Ohio. At first, Bob served samples of sausage to his guests in the Homestead
kitchen. As more people came, the company opened a little sausage shop on
the farm to better serve them. The Sausage Shop, which is now a Bob Evans
Restaurant, was the company's first venture into the business.

Bob Evans lived on the farm for nearly 20 years. He and his wife, Jewell,
raised their six children in the large, brick farmhouse known as the
Homestead. Now on the National Register of Historic Places, the Homestead
was once a stagecoach stop and inn so the spirit of hospitality is deeply
embedded in the companyıs history.

Today you can visit the original Bob Evans Restaurant and experience the
traditions of an all-American farming community. Hay, corn, sorghum, wheat
and tobacco are grown on this nearly 1,000-acre working farm. You can also
see barnyard animals, more than 40 horses and nearly 100 cattle.
The Bob Evans Craft Barn features fine folk art and the work of more than 50
award-winning craftspeople. Tours, entertainment, children's activities and
many other activities are held daily during the visiting season.

From crafts to hiking and camping, the Bob Evans Farm features fun for the
whole family. When you visit the farm, you can:

Barn. Works of more than 50 award-winning craftspeople are for sale. Items
include pottery, tin ware, woven rugs, oak furniture and quilts.

-See traditional farm animals in the barnyard.
